Sexy Addis

This year the African Union celebrate their golden anniversary. Many have queried the choice of Addis Ababa as the host city, but to those in the know, Addis has boasted the highest prostitution rate per capita of pretty much any city in the world for more than a alf century. 

Currently here is an estimated 150,000 prostitutes with reputedly 74% of these girls and women infected with HIV. 

The city metamorphisises at night. Even in my unsexy Blue KIA i am approached and propositioned at every crossing or traffic lights on the very rare occasions i am driving in the city late night. Local markets during the day become red light thoroughfares after 10pm.
